The Cool Kids video for their song 'Pennies' was released a little bit ago and its a nice way to kick off the new year that could hold big things for this Chicago duo. I've been liking the vibe of this song more and more and this video really contributes to the song and helps take it to that next level. I can always tell if a video is good if it reinvigorates my enthusiasm for a track. And this video does just that.

Not to curb your enthusiasm, but I learned something interesting/slightly disheartening tonight. Apparently the Cool Kids are in the Moped Army. There are two ways of looking at this. 1: they are part of that annoying, obnoxious, awful crowd that for some odd reason revs their tiny stinky engines, and did so frequently to disturb our peace at Iglesia. 2: the Cool Kids hang out in Kzoo every Memorial day, which I guess is kind of cool. We should try to track them down this year.
