I think Talib Kweli is viewed a little too critically by everyone. He has been one of the best rappers to go under the category of 'conscious rapper'. I don't even believe in this category. I mean all hip hop is conscious, some just go further with it. But whatever you want to call it, Talib does it well, and I think he is not appreciated because people always expect him alone to be the savior of hip hop or something like that.
This is a track off Talib's last album that I thought went under the radar. It is such a good summer track.
